Real estate is a business and personal investment, pick Mary Gregoryk and Dan McAllister if you want realtors that understand both.  I purchased my house over 18 months ago when The Government moved me from Florida to Oxnard. First, I came out to CA for house hunting, and I spent three days here in Oxnard with Mary viewing property and making assessments on location and property value.  I put in an offer and was in contract with no drama or mess. Secondly, I had to process a loan, sell my house in FL, and Mary and Dan were always a step ahead on the transactions, stayed in communication, and always listened.  Third, they both assisted in the timing of the transaction, so I closed on my house in FL and drove to CA and purchased my house in CA and moved in. From Tear-Down to Legacy Estate

My parents had moved out of their house into assisted living and shortly thereafter my father passed away ... it was time to sell the house.  I was grieving, overwhelmed with the responsibility of being in charge of the trust and of my mother's care, and lived 7 hours away.  I was at a loss on even how to begin to handle the house.  While the bones were good, it was very outdated.  Some members of my family thought of it as a tear down and wanted to sell it as is for whatever we could get for it.

When Things Don’t Go As Planned

My brother and I were the executors for our Mother’s estate after her death which included the sale of her house.  We expected a fairly quick sale so the heirs could begin benefitting from the legacy left to them.
